| General
Please save all packaging and accessories for any item that is returned to Velocity Motorcars. All original equipment and packaging must be returned with your item in order for Velocity Motorcars to process your return request. An item returned for a replacement may replaced at Velocity Motorcars’ discretion. Products with specific refund and return policies and deadlines must be returned within the time periods specified for each item. All items sold by Velocity Motorcars are subject to our Terms and Agreements. Physically damaged items cannot be returned.
- All returns for a refund within 30 days of the invoice date are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
- Any and all warranty claims that are covered under the manufacturers' warranty shall be directed to the manufacturer, not Velocity Motorcars.
Products that are returned to Velocity Motorcars with missing parts or that have been damaged or altered in any way will be refused return and/or refund service and returned to you at your cost.
We will not accept unauthorized returns! Prior to returning your item, a Return Merchant Authorization (RMA) number must be submitted and approved. To obtain an RMA, log in to your account and go to order history and fill out the return form for the order that applies to your item. Returned parts must be unused and in their original condition, packed in the manufacturer’s original packaging, and received at Velocity Motorcars’ physical location within the allowable time frame. Returns will not be accepted without a copy of the invoice and an RMA. Returned items will be inspected before a refund is issued.
If we ship your order to you and it is undeliverable, unclaimed or refused by the recipient, then it will be returned to us for processing. In any of the above cases, Velocity Motorcars has incurred the costs for shipping both to you and for the return to us; therefore, upon return of your order to us, we will issue, at our discretion, credit to you for the returned parts less the outbound and incoming shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee.
Standard Return Policy
- Returns for refund or replacement within 30 days are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- The following parts are not available for refund or replacement by Velocity Motorcars, except for warranty repair or replacement. Any and all warranty claims that are covered under the manufacturers' warranty shall be directed to the manufacturer, not Velocity Motorcars.
- Electrical components such as starters, ignition coils, alternators, or any component that is electrical by design.
- Special order items such as custom windshield sun protectors, car covers, etc.
- Tools and books, including manuals.
Unless another return policy is indicated, products sold by Velocity Motorcars are covered by our Standard Return Policy. All returns are subject to all conditions stated within the entirety of Velocity Motorcars’ Return Policy.
Physical Damage Policy
Physically damaged items cannot be returned to Velocity Motorcars.
Physical damage implies improper handling and/or installation and any other type of damage sustained by irregular use resulting in physical damage to parts. Any part that is physically damaged cannot be returned for refund or replacement.
If you return any physically damaged item to Velocity Motorcars, the item will be returned to you at your expense.
Cores
All cores must be returned to Velocity Motorcars prior to a refund of the core deposit. If cores are not returned to Velocity Motorcars, no refund for the core deposit will be issued under any circumstance. After 30 days, we reserve the right to refuse credit for cores. Any core that Velocity Motorcars determines, in our discretion, to be unusable or unable to be re-built, will receive no credit, at Velocity Motorcars’ discretion. A copy of the invoice must accompany the core when it is returned to us.
The following criteria must be adhered to in order to return the core:
- Prior to returning your core, a Return Merchant Authorization (RMA) number must be submitted and approved. To obtain an RMA, log in to your account and go to order history and fill out the return form for the order that applies to your core.
- Cores must be returned in the original packaging as originally received and be securely packaged to protect during shipment.
- Any fluids must be drained from the core.
- We will examine your core to determine whether or not the core is rebuildable
- Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not refundable.
Shipping Damages
Velocity Motorcars is not liable for any damage incurred during shipment. If a package appears damaged on arrival, or if damage is discovered after opening the container, notify the carrier immediately. Velocity Motorcars properly and securely packages all products when they are delivered to the carrier for shipment and is not liable for damage incurred once the product has been shipped. Any claims for shipping damages must first be directed to the carrier.
Limitation of Indemnity and Liability
The customer assumes any and all liability and risk arising from the ordering, purchase, use or installation of parts that are purchased from Velocity Motorcars. Velocity Motorcars shall not be liable for any damages to any person and/or property arising out of or in connection with the use or installation of any parts that we sell. The customer agrees to indemnify Velocity Motorcars from any and all claims (including, but not limited to legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the use or installation of the product(s) that were purchased from Velocity Motorcars. Velocity Motorcars is not responsible for any damages or claims arising out of a delay in the processing or shipment of any order. Through the purchase of products from Velocity Motorcars, whether online, in person or over the phone, the customer is acknowledging that he/she agrees to accept this Limitation of Indemnity and Liability and all Terms and Conditions.
Velocity Motorcars’ Terms and Conditions are applicable to all orders placed by the customer, whether online, in person or by telephone.
